Meta Notes
Season 2's Vanguard buffs shifted the meta toward tank-heavy compositions. Double Vanguard setups are now viable, especially with Doctor Strange enabling aggressive positioning. The rise of Emma Frost as a new S-tier pick has also changed draft priorities — her diamond form makes her nearly impossible to kill in the early game.
Spider-Man remains the most banned hero in ranked due to his ability to single-handedly eliminate supports. Teams without a counter-pick (Thor or Emma Frost) often lose to a skilled Spider-Man player.
